At this point in my life, I’m pretty much involuntarily having to spend a lot of time around a lot of people.
Already intuitively vulnerable to the energies of others and as a healer, often attracting those who are hurt in some way…it seems as if the more my joy genuinely increases within, the more others who lack their own cup of internal love, subconsciously or even consciously, do and say things that fly at me like a dart to a target.
So, what’s a girl to do when it feels like the weight of the world is on her shoulders?
When I say gather, I mean really take time alone to BREATHE and remind yourself of who you truly are along with the purity of your intentions toward your goals and the betterment of your life and that of those in it.
REBUILD any strength that’s subsided by breathing LIFE into those areas. (Which will more than likely be one if not all of your chakras depending on how long you’ve allowed the toxicity to build up, as these or the centers of our bodies and much like our physical spines that hold us upright, when even one chakra is off balance, our entire structure is affected.)
Soon, if not immediately (depending how bad a$$ of a self-gatherer you are) you’ll feel lighter and happier again because now you’re FREE from the dust that others have blown from their ashes onto you.
Like one of my co-workers unknowingly reminded me, “You just gotta brush it off”. because if you don’t do it ASAP, that’s when it builds up and starts getting heavy and putting unnecessary strains on your spiritual body (i.e. crushing your spirit)
It will always happen at some point, and that’s okay! Unless you’re a robot programmed to only have one “emotion” ever, things will get to you sometimes, but it’s how well and how fast you can bounce back that makes you a warrior. If you let the kill joys keep your spirits low and choose to live with them in misery…you’re not only giving them what they wanted but you’re also freaking miserable now!…and that sucks.
Guard your energy and let the light shine on, free of any dust that may be blurring it’s luminosity. You not only owe it to yourself, but to the world.
